Any suppliers of custom engraved front panel switch markers - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

Does anyone do professional custom front panel switch ID markers? Stick on tape markers look tacky, thinking more of a custom engraved marker, anyone know of a supplier please? Thanks.

Seek out a local sports-trophy supplier: they will engrave pretty much anything you want. My local one does "Traffolyte" or brass-plate engraving for 20p per letter [minimum £5 but this can be split over a number of escutcheons].

I use our local engravers Modern Engraving.

You can email a picture of what you want and they'll just do it.

Laser printed silver finished labels look pretty good and are relatively durable. Exceedingly so if a thin sheet of clear polycarbonate is fitted over the top, held in place by pot / switch fixings etc.

They do engraved formica panels. I have made a few projects in past years using this type of panel. Very professional, very durable.
