Default Acton Signal Generator type CG6/1

Hi,
I've a Acton sig-gen type CG6/1 its not been used for a long time, I replaced couple resisters --capacitors and its oscillating.
When i put the chassis back in the case it stop s oscillating.
can any one help.

These were generators built from surplus parts and sold by R&TV (Acton) Ltd. The CG6/1 looks like a late version with rather less esoteric parts in it. One of the earlier ones used acorn valves and a R1155 tuning capacitor!

which may help. There's bits and pieces elsewhere in this forum on these sig gens- a search for "Acton" turns them up and led me to that circuit.
