Default Arkansas radiogram

Hi all,

I have a Blaupunkt Arkansas radiogram currently residing in the bottom of my fitted wardrobes (!) It's been with us for as long as I can remember but it has been hidden away for the past 20+ years as it is too big and isn't in the best condition aesthetically (cabinet lock broken, trim hanging off etc).

I want rid of it and was thinking of smashing it up as it's far too heavy for us to carry downstairs but I wanted to double check if I should try to pass it on to someone else and who this someone else might be.

Thanks for any comments.

As you are scrapping it, there may well be some interest at the Forum's favourite price (FoC). Put a post in the offered section. Photos may help.

Please don't scrap it. Someone will be pleased to save it as it's a rather good example of its type.

Please put it one the offered section of the boards as I'm positive someone would give it a good home .
I cringe when I see the word scrap or recycle .

Thanks for the replies.

I can't find the forum you mentioned, AC/HL. Do you have a link please?

ajgriff - I don't want to scrap it but it takes up half of my wardrobe and is causing us a lot of problems lol. I am going to try to move it out of there in the next few weeks and see how I feel then.
