Ferranti 145 aerial connection?
Hello,
I have a Ferrant 145 which is working perfectly. I moved the radio recently but in doing so dislodged the aerial cable and it became disconnected from the radio. Taking the back of the radio and inspecting the insides it is not obvious where the aerial plugs into. Can anyone help me locate where the aerial plugs into? Many thanks Archie Kyle |

Re: Ferranti 145
Hi Archie
Welcome to the forum these "Jelly Mould" Ferranti's are good looking sets. With the back of the set facing you the aerial socket is on the Chassis. It's the top left it should be marked "A" Cheers Mike T

Re: Ferranti 145
Welcome to our forum Archie, here you will find lots of help from ex technicians and those who have been in the trade for many years. All I say is do not be afraid to ask what you may think is a silly question, even me I have to ask. Enjoy the hobby and the more you do the more experienced you will become. If you want capacitors, look at Jellyfish Audio.
Best wishes Ken |

Welcome to the forum!
If I remember, and if someone else doesn’t beat me to it, I’ll take a photo of where the aerial connects on mine. Regards Lloyd |

Re: Ferranti 145 aerial connection?
Here you go, the aerial connects to the top hole in the connector I’m pointing to with the green thing.
