Hi Guys,
Thanks for all the info, I now works 100%
What I did was put a 'link' between 1 and 2 which made it ring but as someone suggested that would affect the earpiece (It did)
I had a spare resistor in the pack of stuff I bought so I tried that instead of the lnk and it now works fab

That's odd and suggests a fault in the wiring, but if it works for you...
