Default Homebrew test meter 1942

picked this up om local auction opened it up and notice it had some very nice wound resistors which seemed a bit above the standard homebrew type

sadly the meter is damaged snapped in 2 the hair spring is mangled

but a goggle search shows its a fairly common AM unit so maybe able to find another round the radio rallies

meter spec 0-40v marker at 24v
1942 2000r per volt 8000R 5mA ref 10A/12682

which seems to equal on the web to 5U/1693 and 5Q1693
