As you'll remember, we sadly lost Lucien last year. His dream of creating his Museum, 'MEET' was never fulfilled, despite his drive and enthusiasm.

Steve, his friend and Executor has been left with the mammoth task of dealing with Lucien's extensive and varied collection. He says; "Items where Lucien gave specific instructions, of historic interest, and/or low commercial value have already been given to specialist collectors, and this will continue to be the case. The guiding principle is and always has been ‘what would Lucien have wanted’, so where his wishes were known or can reliably be presumed, items will go to places where they will be used, seen, and understood."

There remains a substantial collection that is still to be sorted. For example, salvaged systems from telephone exchanges, power stations, plus electronic and pipe organs which are spread across multiple storage locations. Steve and Lucien's friends have spent much time on this already and it is expected to continue for quite a while longer.

In order to make some headway, some smaller complete items are being offered for sale via auction, you may have seen some of them working in Lucien's BBC Breakfast appearance last year.

Steve adds; "The purpose of the auction is to give as many friends, relatives and interested collectors as possible, access to the collection. Please take the opportunity to take advantage of Lucien’s drive and vision to acquire an artifact that you can use to either pursue that vision in your own way, or by which to remember our old friend."

I recognise the HP 175A oscilloscope from the BBC interview last year, complete with the early 1781A & 1750A plug-ins, hope it goes to someone that is interested, trouble with Ramco auctions is anyone can bid, including those with no interest in complete items.

Mostly, there are a few pictures missing.
