Help to identify early 30's Rees Mace made radio/gramophone
Hi,
I am hoping someone can help me in identify what I believe to be an early 30's Reece Mace made radio/gramophone. The radio chassis is painted battle ship grey, has No. 655 stamped on the back and the front dial escutcheon has Consolidated Radio on it. It has three valves; 1 Mazda DC2/Pen and two Mazda AC/S2 - grey coated with B5 base and top screw cap. The speaker is Magnavox model 144. It is housed in an art deco wooden table cabinet with a very early 30's Garrard AC/DC turntable on the top. The lid has a Reece Mace logo on it. The tone arm fitted appears to be HMV Bakelite and there are two Bakelite needle holders. Can send photos separately to email address. Regards, Greg |

You'll get a better response if you post some pictures in the thread as described here:-
