Default CATV tuner

Hello all
Has anyone purchased or had experience of a CATV tuner kit from MTM Scientific Inc in the U.S.A.
If so I would very much like to hear from them as to how or if they got theirs working.
Cheers Mike

If it's from the USA then it probably will be for the ATSC broadcast standard used there, not DVB-T as used in the UK.

It is sold as a radio astronomy receiver and is programmed to receive channel 37 at 608- 614 MHz. But they are tricky little blighters and I am on my second one which is why I need to speak to someone else who has tried one.
