Your cable is fine and you are in the service area.
Over 40 years back I had a 6-ele pointing at Wrotham from Ipswich as both Peterborough and Tacolneston only radiated in mono then. I could also receive
Capital & LBC from Croydon. Radio Medway was also a good signal.

Linnovice, you don't mention which transmissions you are receiving. A note of the frequencies would help confirm that you are actually receiving transmissions from Wrotham and not somewhere else. If so then what are the signal strength meter readings for the four main BBC programmes?
