Past Times Radio Doncaster.
HI just bought two radios from Past Times Radio, a Philips V5A and a Roberts P4D. Was nice to meet Richard and see some of the wonderful radios he has for sale and repair. Well worth a look on his website.
Kind regards, Bob. |

I’ve had great service from Richard too. The sets are sensibly priced and well packed.

Re: Past Times Radio Doncaster.
Morning.
Over the years I have been to Richard's and it's a pleasure to see him each time I go. He is always helpful, the first time I met him I needed a knob for a Saba radio so out comes Richard with a large box full of radio knobs and yes the one I needed was at the bottom of the box. Kevin. |

Re: Past Times Radio Doncaster.
Just had a nice browse through his website, first time for me as I wasn't aware it existed.
Quite fancy the little Defiant radio for some reason.

Re: Past Times Radio Doncaster.
He seems to be less widely known as the years have gone on. Maybe more competition from eBay etc?
I’ve bought about 4 or 5 sets from him over the years, and they’ve all arrived safely and been exactly as described. |

Re: Past Times Radio Doncaster.
Just bought an AVO testmeter from him, and he chucked in an old and somewhat sad looking AVO RF generator for another fiver.

Re: Past Times Radio Doncaster.
I haven't bought any radios for a while, but have dealt with Richard several times in the past.
I can recommend him without any reservations, he's a true gent, and very accurate in describing, packing etc his sets. I have no reason at all to think you'd be disappointed. 100% rating from me. |
