Julie provided a useful conversion list earlier but I wonder if this list, which corresponds with your dial markings might be useful?

From the photographs you posted it is obvious that there are only figures in round hundreds of metres but I can't make out if there are any dots to denote 50 metre intervals but it should be easy enough to estimate them, so I've included them.

metres kHz
200 > 1500
250 > 1200
300 > 1000
350 > 857
400 > 750
450 > 667
500 > 600
550 > 545

If Terry's list looks a little crowded try this one which shows only those in the NE London region.

Considering the number of people all over the place - including Scotland - who have been reporting good reception of Radio Carolime's 1kW transmitter on the Suffiolk coast, I didn't want to rule anything out, Mike.

(It's on 648kHz, so irrelevant to the present discussion.)

Thank you all for the help! It is much appreciated. I'll open the radio up again tomorrow (as its midnight right now) and ill have a little look at what is going on inside again.
