Ah, I've got one of those - or a cosmetic variant, as mine looks like the RM.org set. Tandberg Huldra 4. A very nice radio indeed.

Ah, that's probably a little out of my way for the foreseeable future. Hard to think, though, of a domestic model of the early '50s that would have given better service there: it's a superb performer, with excellent audio quality too.

The waveband turret is spectacular, and the tuning mechanism combining a set of full length scales and the shorter scales for the SW bands is nicely ingenious:

I thought myself very fortunate to come by my set long ago at the local flea market, offered by a trader who made occasional trips to Norway to visit his wife's family there, bringing back a few interesting artefacts each time he visited.
