some information on the CV4005, the Cv4005 seems to be a more rugged valve and therefor commands a higher price nearly double

Ok replaced all of the caps with exception of the 32uF+16uF can, tentatively fired it up, works off the external aerial on all 3 bands and off the internal frame aerial to a fashion, however it is a bit quiet and no change what so ever happens with the volume control, I have also replaced the resistors near the caps I changed I would like a bit of advice where to go next?
