Question Wanted: 7" empty reel

I'm about to start work on my Sony TC-270 and though I have some blank tapes, I don't have a 7" empty reel! (This will be my first reel-to-reel restoration.) Does anybody have a spare one I could buy? Nothing fancy required.

Thanks in advance, Paul

Don, are you sure they're 6"? This is a nonstandard size, they're normally 5 3/4" or 7".

I have a 10" NAB reel. It has some very old tape on it that I will throw away.

It is either an Ampex or 3m three spoke metal reel. Yours if it is any good.

Thanks for that Cerberos, but my deck won't take NAB reels, so reely is welcome to it if he wants it.

It looks as if Peter (sukicat) can sort me out. Thanks to all.

Best regards, Paul
