Default Re: Farnell Bench Power Supply LT30-2

Just borrowed an LT30-2 from work and need to set constant current. Came online to search for the manual, and lo! The forum has me sorted instantly!

Thanks for the manual!

Smile Re: Farnell Bench Power Supply LT30-2

In an earlier thread I mentioned that I replaced one of the coarse voltage control pots which had gone intermittent with a Bourns 5K 10 turn type and I have now got very good voltage control as it takes 10 turns rather than a single turn to swing between 0-30 volts.

Recently the current limit pot had gone intermittent and the current limit would swing wildly when the knob was touched and so tonight I replaced it as well with a Bourns 10 turn pot. I now have very good current setting resolution and can almost set the current limit to 1-2 mA of a desired value anywhere from 7mA to 2A

When time permits I shall swap the left hand channels pots over from single turn types to 10 turn types.
