Amateur Radio Shows
A couple of amateur radio shows:-
Rugby Amateur Transmitting Society Saturday `1st September Stanford Hall, near Lutterworth Junction 19 M1/ M6/A14. www.stanfordhall.co,uk Leicester Amateur Radio Show Friday and saturday 7 and 8 September Donnington Park (next door to the East Midlands Airport) Junctions 23/A or 24 on the M1,or you could fly in, Bmibaby, Easyjet, and Ryanair amongst other ailines that fly here. At rallies with a large 'flea market' area you will probably find several vintage radios, transistor and valve, very cheaply too as they are not generally sought-after by radio hams.
Leicester is a good rally but one of the best is Elvaston Castle, Derbyshire which is held in June every year. Phil
