Default PACE Nightingale Modem with BBC Micro

I have recently acquired an old nightingale modem for my beeb. Do you know if there is an easy way to test this? Or do I need a second modem connected to another beeb to dial-in and transfer files? Now that the old Prestel Service has gone I am not sure how to test. Thanks & Regards for any help in advance.

Hi , have you tried googling for viewdata sites, which was a later name for Prestel type services.

Could it work on a Bulletin Board type service, some of which may still be around.

Would think there are probably some specialist bbc micro websites, that may be able to help.

Good Luck - Mike
