Default Leak Stereo 30 plus won't turn on

Hi - i'd appreciate any pointers anyone may have. I've a Leak Stereo 30 Plus which I used up until a few years ago. I don't remember it ever stopping working, but I tried the other day and it was as dead as a doorknob! I've checked the AC and DC fuses, as well as the plug fuse all of which are fine. I contacted a couple of specialists who were more interested in refurbishing the amp at enormous cost whereas I'd just like to repair it/get it working - I'm hoping it's something simple as the amp was hardly used and otherwise in good condition.

Thanks in advance

A couple of questions:-
1. Does the light on the front panel come on?
2. Do you have a multimeter that you can use?

Hi,
I don't know this amp, but I have a Leak Delta 30 of (I presume) a similar age. Mine just has a simple on/off switch combined with the volume control. Maybe a quick squirt of Servisol (or similar) switch cleaner might work.
Cheers, Pete.

:If the switch has failed, you may find switch cleaner doesn't cure it, it will need replacing. Trouble is they're not available, you'd have to have it specially made.
