You have nice Welsh water in Liverpool, Kev. Southport's comes from a bore hole somewhere and is very limy. If I left a record to dry here it would have irremovable white streaks down it

As a further thought to this, I wonder if a drop or two of dishwasher rinse aid to the final rinse would be of value?

I have a record cleaning machine, and given the hardness of local water in the Thames Valley, I buy high grade distilled water from here https://www.buydistilledwater.co.uk/
The RCM I have used a little pot of surfactant they supply that goes into 5 litres of distilled water. Might seem pricey at £8.30 for 5 litres. Shipping is not cheap resulting in £15 for 5 litres. But I have only just bought my second 5 litres in as many years. Craig |
