Sub miniature Chokes SMD
Anyone know which are the smallest chokes available, ideally SMD, less than 2.5mm high with small footprint. Does such a part exist? looking for some 150u, 1mh @ 5ma or more ok.

Re: Sub miniature Chokes SMD
I have some 1812 1000ยต, 3mm high, will be rated ~30mA. I think the lowest you will find is Wurth Type 828 at 2.8mm

Re: Sub miniature Chokes SMD
You might struggle to get them that small.
I just checked my stock of SMD inductors and the nearest I have is 100uH 860mA and they are about 3.5mm high. Peter |

Re: Sub miniature Chokes SMD
Thanks Guys, Looks like I will have to go with through the hole parts, not ideal but they seem to be the lowest profile at 2.3mm for a 0.25 W part.
