Default IMF Transcription Series 300 help

Hi All,

Just joined the forum as I have been amazingly lucky to come into possession of one of the above very rare turntables. My father in law passed away, and although my wife/mother in law are aware it is a 'good' record player, I'm not sure they realise how special!

Apparently it hasn't been fully working for several years (since prior to his passing), so I am looking to restore/refurbish it.

Would anybody here have any knowledge of any specialists (or in fact, be one themselves) capable of taking a look at it to advise of what parts/work is required, and potentially take on the work? Although I am a hi-fi enthusiast, I don't think my first solo refurb should be on such a piece of kit!

Any advice, pointers, contacts etc. would be extremely gratefully received...if relevant, it/I am based in West London (W4).

Many thanks,

Stu
