Default Garrard Deck

Can anyone tell me what model of Gerrard deck this is please. Also someone has glude in a cartridge with work well and sound ok but what replacement would I need as there is no manufacturer name on it can any one identify the stylus .what would have been the original cartridge for this if any one knows please

If you look at the "Vintage Audio" section, you will see threads marked "sticky" (i.e. they remain at the top of the list of threads), one of which is labelled "Garrard record player identification".

The model number is visible in the first photo, minus its final zero: it's a 3000.

The tubular tone arm in the deck allows for good quality cartridges to be used, particularly the Sonotone 9TA/HC. The cartridge you show was never fitted to this deck as it was not contemporaneous with it. You can of course fit a new Ceramic Stereo cartridge given it has a standard 1/2" mount.
