Soviet-bloc portable - Selena 215-217
One of these is likely to be coming my way soon. Does anyone have any info. and/or service details for it? There doesn't seem to be anything much on the Web.
Thanks Mike |

Re: Soviet-bloc portable - Selena 215-217
This thread includes a couple of probably relevant schematics -
https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...d.php?t=122760 Not much chance, I'd have thought, of a manual in English, but many Soviet exports came with Russian-language service data. I've a new and boxed B215 lurking somewhere, but I doubt it would include anything of further help. Paul |

They are not particularly easy sets to work on, but the commonest faults relate to the turret tuner contacts and the various bulbs. The mains cable is also very prone to failure.
The B21x series are excellent performers on the AM bands as they have a tuned RF amp stage. |
