Default Telecomms IC

I have six glass masks here which would have been used for IC manufacture, they are Marked STC LTD 1982

The six masks are labelled:-

51A STL-134A ISOL
91A STL-134A METAL 2
61A STL-134A METAL 1
811A STL-134A POLY.
121A STL-134A PASS.
41A STL-134A OHMIC

It would be interesting to know what the device was what was manufactured using them.
