Default RS Pot disassembly

Hi Folks

as per the title, I'm trying to take apart a 1960's RS pot which doesn't respond to the usual spray treatment. I've desoldered the tags and prised open the retaining lugs but the guts wont come out, it's remains sort of springily attached internally? The black plastic part doesn't move, should it?

Thanks Merlin, it was properly stuck. Surprisingly it's a wirewound so normal lubing probably wouldn't have helped
