Default Hacker Gondolier sound problem

My Hacker Gondolier has developed an annoying background fault, The machine had had the two 47nf Coupling Caps changed when I got the player. It plays and sounds nice and clear however their is now a strange low level (for want of a better description ) bass pulse. The pulse is regular like someone turning the bass on and off, I have the service details purchased from the site already but need a bit of help tracking down the faulty component. Thanks

Sounds like you may have not released the transit screws?

That's exactly the sound I'm taking about wish I had thought of using that as example but sadly that's not causing the fault

Does it only do it when a record is playing?

Cartridge fault perhaps or the arm too heavy. I had something similar once [not on a Hacker ] where the rubber suspension was touching the record

When you re-assembled the unit after replacing the capacitors, do you think part of the autochanger mechanism might now be fouling the motorboard internal cut out? Give the autchanger deck plate a wriggle.
