Avo 8 Mk 7
Hi all
I've just been given an AVO 8 Mk 7, is it any good? It appears to be mint with the case and appears to work correctly. I think they are the later cost cutting version, and I may be better off with an older one with regards to reliability, I may sell it if they are no good. Looks nice but the original leads are missing though. |

Re: Avo 8 Mk 7
The Avo 8 Mk 7 is excellent. Any good? Of course. Cost cutting version? Back in 2008 they were around £700.
Others may have a different opinion, but for reliability, they're probably the best you'll get from an Avo 8. Each different actual unit will depend on how it's been treated though.

Re: Avo 8 Mk 7
Thanks for the reply
It is a 2003/4 model I think, I will definitely keep it then as it works really well, plus a decent second meter to go with my old Fluke will be very useful. |
