Default Panasonic NV-J35 SCART and Video input

You'd think I'd know as it's my user name!

I can record perfectly using the SCART input but how do I select the BNC Video input socket? I'd like to connect to my hard drive PVR to record to tape.

Connecting a video source I get no sound or image. But fine recording on SCART.

I don't have a UK manual and online ones are for European models without SCART.

Thank you for any info.

It's a while since I have seen a J35 but from memory I think that there is an AV 1/ AV 2 option [aux in] on the remote.

Brian.

Thanks Brian.

That makes sense. Sadly I don't have the original remote so I'll have to get onto eBay to get one second hand.

Hi Ian, I also own an NV-J35. When you insert the BNC plug it overides the analogue tuner. Select any channel number other than AV and the picture comes through. I don't have the original remote either so I just use the up/down channel buttons on the vcr itself.
