Default Studer A807 - Capstan Motor Hall effect IC.

Hello
wonder if anyone can help. I have a Studer A807 with a faulty hall effect IC inside the capstan motor. Its a 4 lead device with the only marking is a letter D. can anyone help. There is no reference to this in the manual. Only the motor complete!

Thanks

Step 1 would be to post some photos of the beastie, and maybe a snippet of the circuit diagram. Someone may recognise it, or be able to figure out what it probably is.

Hello as Suggested I have managed to get a couple of pictures of what I am looking for.
These devices don't appear to be "normal" Hall Effect ones. Can anyone identify what they are? I just need one! No reference in the manual.

Thanks Paul

To: Paul Godley, Not sure if you ever figured this part out in the post but I think I found it. I believe it to be a HW-300A . here's a link to the data sheet and a place to buy it.

DATASHEET: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/...HW300A/6100056

WHERE TO BUY:
https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32568...yAdapt=glo2usa

I ran into a the same problem finding this part with an early pioneer laserdisc spindle motor. hope this helps. -Brian

Maybe, but the listing claims it to be a voltage regulator and the package layout is different- that's quite a lot to get lost in translation...

No direct interest in this, but the picture looks more like the HW-300B
