Default Bush PB.12 Speaker Baffle (which way up)?

Good morning all,

I always take lots of pics before and after dismantling anything but this one got away!!

Does anyone know which way up this speaker baffle should be installed (the holes match up both ways)?

Brian

I think the "flat" is at the top.

If you offer it up you will probably find the very top of the aperture is blocked by the front of the cabinet (if that makes sense)

Cheers

Chances are that the speaker will foul something if it's the wrong way up. If it's not obvious, a quick trial assembly with just the cabinet, baffle, speaker, chassis and the odd screw should sort it.

Hello,
If you look at his picture https://thumbs.worthpoint.com/zoom/i...ca97b630c6.jpg
you can see the whole of the bottom of the speaker but not the top so as Mike suggested the flat must be at the top.
Yours, Richard

Thanks Richard; have tried the link but coming up "403 Forbidden"

Have a feeling that it may be flat to the top, as there is a very feint mark to the left of the edge of the baffle where the brass grille wraps around the edge of the baffle.

When I try to look at that picture, I get the error: "403 Forbidden". Why is that?

Regards,

Dave.

Hello,
What I have done is to just select the image needed from several on a webpage to make it easier. I think this is known as hotlinking and some websites have anti-hotlinking software to prevent this, which I suspect is what is blocking your access.
I seem to be able hotlink to the website as the link works for me. This may be because some browsers/protection programs remove the source information from the URL request which can defeat the anti-hotlinking software as they don't know who is making the request.
Sorry about the problem but I have put the picture in another post.
Yours, Richard

Maybe a link to the website page is a better idea than a link to the image.

I wonder if this works?
