Good point - I would have thought that if they are doing a separate contest for Scotland, they would do the same for Ireland, England and Wales as well

I think some of our members would be in with a good chance!

I also notice the absence of any mention of standards converters in either of the articles ... or any warnings against just plugging in an old set found in an attic

It is nice to see some publicity on vintage TV though.

This would dramatically reduce the number of operating sets which might be candidates for this contest
