Default Vidor CN359

A good friend of mine saved this radio from going to the tip and has done a lovely job of re finishing the cabinet.
He asked me if I could look at the chassis as it didn`t work very well.
well I offered to take it away and repair it for free as been as it was just about working.
Well after changing the usual wax caps , electrolytic,s and an o/c 100k resistor , I found the tone control was o/c.
On removing the tone pot ( which was not the original ) I noticed that there was a burn mark on the chassis where the original tone pot had burnt out.
Now this pot is 50k with a .05uf cap on the wiper and usually a tone pot has a higher resistance than this.
Now unfortunately my bvws trader sheet cd which would probably have this information on is cracked and will not play so I am hoping some kind person can confirm the correct value of this pot and possible capacitor.
The sound o/p valve is unusual in being a 6AG6 .

Look here: https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/vidor_cn359.html

According to the above, originally it would have been an EL33.
A 6AG6 (or KT61) is a sensible replacement.

As John has previously remarked, a capacitor in that position should be rated at 1Kv I would suggest.
