Definitely a "Pye Mistral" (although I did not know that Boots appear to have had the same model under their brand.

I had one when I was a teenager (Green / Blue) and the only noteworthy thing about it was its design.

I did not know that it was available in that gaudy yellow colour!

Cool Re: I restored it, but haven't a clue who made it?

I have a Roberts R600 in that colour, a B&O or two also, and find it quite attractive, but to each their own and taste can't be taught so I'm stuck with mine!

You may be interested to know that "Kenneth G Sadler" is alive and well and operating an architects business in Horsham! Sounds like he moved on to "greater" things!

My first job was in a radio & TV shop & I remember that we used to sell these back in the 70's. Pye Minstrel rings a faint bell somewhere in my skull as well, but we also sold a lot of ITT KB and RGD stuff too. In the 70's a lot of famous British brands appeared on plastic Japanese imports. I vaguely remember a girlfriend of mine having something very similar in dark green with an RGD badge (not sold by us). Could be wrong, though.
Hope this helps.
Cheers de Pete
