If it is red green or blue, then it it will go to CRT base.

My God. I haven't seen, nor worked on one of those since the mid 1990's.

It does bring back memories though. As heavy as an elephant, with a neck like a a giraffe.

The only Sony Trinitron I have in my collection is a KV-1440AS Mk2.
Have fun restoring it, and don't try to adjust any pots unless you are prepared to spray some cleaner into it first.

Wayne.

Every one i ever saw the tube was flat, those thick neck trinitrons weren't much good, and of course viciously expensive from sony.

Same here, without exception but there must have been a few good ones. John.

I was fairly lucky with the 1800 tubes, it was the 1810 that scared people, but they were tamable, I got a 1330 in a few weeks ago, they were belting little sets too.

Arrgh!, the 1810, still strikes terror into all those who had the misfortune to deal with them, there was a fixed multi step procedure for them, miss a step at your peril, otherwise the thunk of doom!.
