VT-167 E1541 CV1716 Triode not 6K8
Hi I have some valves new in box that look like PX4 Triodes but they like the settings on my AVO VCM163 it overloads every time I test as a PX4, I cannot find any data whatsoever in relation to its use and its specs the boxes and tubes have have the following stamped on them GPO VT-167 and then in plain writing CV1716, they are beautifully constructed tubes, any information out there ?

I meant they don't like PX4 settings Gm sits at 5 but Ia goes off scale and shuts down, I don't want to damage my AVO or the valves

Telephone Trunk / inter-exchange amplifiers. Very long ago. Hence a GPO designation.
