Dictograph Wiring
Hi all
So I thought it would be fun to set up a little coms system between the garage, garden etc and have managed to get hold of 3 dictograph units. All identical Can't see a model number but does have a date of 1974 inside Am I right in thinking they work on a 6vdc supply? Also, not a clue on how to wire, which is the supply feed etc etc Any help much appreciated |

Re: Dictograph Wiring
Thanks, Graham, for that link. I have mislaid the piece of paper I scanned for post no. 5!

Re: Dictograph Wiring
If the original poster should check back (last activity some three hours after the initial post), I wonder what progress has been made.
In case it is of any help to him or any other Dictograph experimenters, I attach below a document setting out how I have wired my setup (in a way that avoids having units permanently wired together). Also attached is a picture of the interconnection box, which also contains a 6V power supply (4x "C" cells). Although only four connectors have been installed, up to seven are supported.
