I wouldn't use either they are really both too low a voltage.

Hi Thanks i have found some in my spare parts box am waiting for my 5 W resistors.i now no the problem the third valve base is total duff and i will have to replace it i have ordered 2 from ebay so progress is in sight thanks for the help
