Ever Ready Sky Emperor Aerial mouldings
Posts split from this thread : https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...76#post1494176
There may be some good news on the Antennae mounts one of my colleagues has offered to do the design for the 3D printer for me. There are several 3D printers in the office so I will update on that if we get success. Cheers Mike T

Re: Wanted Parts for Ever Ready Sky Emperor
Hi Mike, unfortunately one is left and one is right handed, I hope for your colleagues sake it is just a matter of flipping the image / code.
I would be interested to see the results. If you need help with measurements, close up photos, just ask. John.

Re: Wanted Parts for Ever Ready Sky Emperor
Hi John
Yes we saw they were handed I have some decent pictures and this is his day job he creates 3D models for production and tooling. He estimates it as a 5 minute job he created some 3D parts for another colleague literally took 5 minutes and they were more complex than these parts. As you say we will wait and see how they come out Cheers Mike T

Re: Wanted Parts for Ever Ready Sky Emperor
OK we have all been busy at work but over the weekend my friend has done a mock up and now just needed to get the depth correct, apart from the depth the model is looking pretty good hopefully we will be able to print a set in the next couple of days for a trial fit

Re: Wanted Parts for Ever Ready Sky Emperor
Looking good, I'm looking forwards to seeing the results, looks like just 4 screw holes and one for the aerial to make. Is it possible to blend two colours to get the exact original colour?
John.

Re: Wanted Parts for Ever Ready Sky Emperor
My colleague printed off a pair we had to wait a while for a printer to be free as they are pretty busy these days.
I won't be able to offer the up to the case till next week. However they show promise If we get them to a good enough quality I will be offering them on the forum. Cheers Mike T

Re: Ever Ready Sky Emperor Aerial mouldings
So finally got around to a trial fit.
Pretty happy with them but we are going to make a few tweeks to see if we can ensure the original footprint is completely covered. So a couple of pictures of the trial fit. Cheers Mike T
