I had a surprise then this page opened up at about 11;55. It rectified itself the next time I loaded the page.

That can happen when the internet connection is flaky. The browser is unable to download all the elements of a web page, and eventually gives up and renders it as best it can.

There has been a lot of intermittent speed issues over the past month or so.
I have managed to identify a suspect site that may be causing this and have duly reported it to my service provider.
