Re: Capacitors
Hi Dorian, I've just looked on Ebay and various people are selling both 470uF 25v and 10uF 63v axial capacitors though you may have to buy a pack of five. If you are wanting genuine vintage capacitors from the 1960s or 70s these may be a little more difficult to obtain. Hope this helps.

Re: Capacitors
Perennial question. The answer is, use caps with voltage and capacitance ratings the same as,
or slightly higher than the originals. They will work perfectly.

Re: Capacitors
http://cpc.farnell.com or https://www.rapidonline.com do electrolytic caps as well as other components.
Andy.

Re: Dansette Prince
Morning Dorian
I see you have received your answer ( CPC/Farnel and Rapid) I also use these two suppliers and occasionally Crickelwood Electronics and RS. Cheers John |

Re: Dansette Prince
As a footnote to the above, 400uf caps. are , AFAIK, no longer made. 470uf is the nearest available 'preferred value' . As to working voltage, any cap. of the nearest available value, having a working voltage equal to, or greater than, that of the original, can usually be substituted for faulty ones of values & voltages no longer made. 63v.Electrolytics should be stocked by most suppliers, and, in most cases, can safely be used to replace 64v. types. Speaking of suppliers, another good one is Rapid Electronics.
