Question Restoring RACAL ICR 20

Hi everyone and first of all thanks for your time

I recently bought two RACAL ICR 20 in poor condition for a good price.
I want to restore them and they look like they used to do.
But I am having a hard time finding technical and historical information about this device.

All information would help me. It all adds up!

Greeting

As David suggests, please give more information about this device. A Google search finds nothing.

Slow speed communication logging machines. Very specialised, almost useless for anything else.

Thanks Ted, I thought it might be something like that.

If it's anything like this, not only will it be largely useless for music due to the low frequency response, but you may not easily find tape for it, at least not at an affordable price. Nice looking machines though.

¡Pon un par de fotos, porfa!

Racal also made instrumentation recorders such as the Racal Store 4DS. Its tape speeds were from 15/16 to 60 ips. It could record frequencies well above human hearing.

Racal bought Thermionic Products in Hythe, who had been making multitrack voice logging recorders since the early fifties.

For a while at least it was known as Racal Thermionic.
