Cossor 583 and others spotted - any good?
Out and about today doing some xmas shopping, popped into a antique shop and saw these three:
Here is a close-up of the Cossor. Sorry; it's only my phone camera: The two on the top (didn't identify) were about £40 each. The Cossor was £130 I recall. I asked about old TVs and they have 3 or 4, but not at the shop. Anybody want me to get anything for anybody? Last edited by Dave Moll; 7th Nov 2010 at 9:00 pm. I'm sure someone will want them.
The top one (with a missing knob) is a GEC BC5645, a VHF set. The other is a GEC BC6936 multiband set. I think it's an export model (mine came from Aden); it seems to be quite rare in the UK. |
