"Superior 15" TV kit 1954.
I came across this kit advertised in a 1954 Practical Wireless. The advert lists Electronic Precision Equipment Ltd of Wealdstone, Middx, with shops at Ruislip, London EC4, and Finsbury Park. Looks like a 15" round CRT.
Anybody seen one? |

Hi they also trade under the name of "Elpreq".
I believe it was basically a Prac TV circuit. A pal of mine built the kit and his own console cabinet for it. It worked fine but radiated RF to some sets in the surrounding area, leading to patterning on them. Ed |

Thanks, Ed
I have not seen it on the forum before. I assume it was a superhet design, as it says it could be modified for ITV (new tuner or converter) when required. Probably a CRM153 crt. Tony |
