RTT 56 and rotatone
hello,
I recently bought an old belgian bell telephone RTT 56 and a rotatone to make it work from pulse to tone. Does anyone know exactly how to plug the rotatone in the phone? The model and plan of the RTT 56 A number SA158 can be found here http://www.britishtelephones.com/bellt3.htm and the rotatone pulse to tone converter here http://www.oldphoneworks.com/rotaton...converter.html Thank you Yves |

Re: RTT 56 and rotatone
There are several circuit diagrams are shown. Do you know which one is appropriate for your 'phone? With the appropriate diagram it should be possible to identify the equivalent points in the circuit where the Rotatone changes need to be made.
Note that it may require some cutting/unsoldering of wires if there aren't removable links in the appropriate places.

Re: RTT 56 and rotatone
It's the first one shown model SA 15859 A-2 (which seems to me be exacty the same as the last one with the number plate AP)
Solving and cutting wires is not a problem to me. Thank you Yves |
