Default Loewe pp 8080 turntable needle

Hello.
I want to make the turntable of Loewe pp 8080 stereo working again.
I bought a cheap (universal?) needle from ebay, but it does not seem to fit on.
Is it possible to make this working?

Here I can buy the exact needle for 15EUR, but I am wondering if there is any cheap chinese alternative.

Best regards,
G.

Your best bet would be to look on eBay. Here in the UK, there are styli starting at about £8.00. I have no idea of the quality and personally would buy either a genuine AT91 stylus or a generic replacement from a reputable dealer. At least that way, if it turns out to be of poor quality you have some recourse.

Aaah I see now, I have to search for ATN-91. Thanks.

What about buying entire head with needle for 1,20€?
Can it be mounted on Loewe?
I am not really interested in playback quality, I just want to make the turntable working.

That's a ceramic cartridge. The one in your record player is magnetic. They work in very different ways and can't be interchanged without serious modification.

€15.00 does not sound much for a stylus for a magnetic cartridge. It's only a cent and a half for each hour of listening time!

Thanks. I hope this is the right one.
I will buy entire cartridge, bacause I don't know if the current one functions normally. The turnatable has not been used for many many years.

There is not really much that can go wrong with a magnetic record player cartridge (apart from the stylus wearing out .....) but the one you have linked certainly looks as though it will do the job. It looks like the kind you usually see fitted to "bedroom DJ special" direct drive turntables. It has the standard 12.7 mounting holes, so should just be a straight swap.
