Default Old switches, lamps etc

I'm just wondering if any member here has some old components (mainly toggle switches and push buttons) they would be willing to sell? I am building a 'vintage' project and would like to use vintage components if possible rather than naff eBay toggles/buttons!

Thanks all

What sort of voltage are you switching?

I have some old toggle switches rated at 120 and 240v 3A but would not like to use them at 240v. Should be ok, how many are you after ? I suppose the toggles should match ?

Not mega mega fussed they all match as there is more than one control panel so I could mix and match a bit between the panels. Anyone got any push buttons or just toggles?
Thanks!

I have these, top left of picture (10 square switches) the toggles are all very stiff, the rest are "light duty". PM sent.

You may have problems switching logic level 3.3V signals with crusty old toggle switches meant for mains- there's no oomph to blast through contact crud.

Hi

I might have some ex military standard devices (gold plated contacts?).
Can you be more specific about size & shape required, should they be illuminated, single press action or locking etc?

Gold plated contacts are good for low level signal switching- as long as they've not been used for anything else. A typical modern signal level switch is only rated at 0.5VA!

Interesting - thanks.

Not too fussed about size/shape - illuminated, probably not needed, locking - maybe one or two (if you mean with a key!), single press action yes, and some toggle switches of interest too!

Thanks!!
