Default What is it?

Another What is it?
Well, I know WHAT it is, but not what EQUIPMENT it is for.
A diode probe I assume, fattish grey body, shortpointed tip and very short grounding lead with croc clip. About 1M of lead, with a plug with typical "aluminium services" appearance. The connector has eight pins, similar to a B7G base with an eighth pin, plus a ninth one well offset from the centre. Pins much smaller cross section than those of B7G. Finally, a fairly wide location extending part around the pins Rotating knurled outer sheath.
I think maybe an old Cossor 'scope or similar, but no real idea. If it can be identified, it will probably end up FOC in the appropriate section.
