Default Gs31b Transformer

Looking for a suitable transformer to rebuild a GS31b Amplifier

needs 1000V at 1.5A

13v at 6A

18v at 1A

Ian

M5IJH

Any suggestions of a supplier?

its a ZZ-145 Chassis

Hi Ian, a large and dangerous one.It could be better to get the HV on and a separate LV one if you have the space as it will reduce costs

On the up side, not too many turns needed due to the large core.

Is this a max rating or intermittent?

A serious health hazard though !!

I can live with seperate transformers, that was the spec of the original transformer, however I aquired the chassis without the transformer.

Attached is circuit diagram and picture of a chassis with the transformer. Amplifier is used Ssb not FM so around 60% duty cycle.

baby unit in amateur circles, Max output around 1-1.2kw Ssb on 144mhz
