Restoring the Marconi R1155 Receiver Book Availability
Hello!
Would anyone know where I could obtain a copy of Peter Holtham's book on Restoring the Marconi R1155 Receiver? I picked up an R1155 at an auction and I've been searching on the internet for a couple of years with no luck. Can't find it anywhere. Thanks |

The search engine on this forum is really quite good. (At the top) I just entered Peter Holtham as the search term.
Perhaps start here - I'm sure there are many others. But this one seems to hold promise. https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...d.php?t=126345 |

Yeah, just e-mail him. I bought mine a couple of years ago and it is really a wonderful reference. Postage from Australia took a while, but no rush as I'm not going to start the restoration until I've got some more room! I've enjoyed looking through the book to get an idea of where to start, though.

Re: Restoring the Marconi R1155 Receiver Book Availability
My R1155 book is still readily available, just email me for a quote for the postage. I used to have an active google blog but had a bit of a fight with them and canned the website. Then I was just too idle to bother with some other web hosting, I rather assumed I had saturated the market.
Anyway, with helpful input from Ian Ropper I have recently finished the 4th edition. My email is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Just reformat that in the normal way. cheers Peter VK4COZ Last edited by Radio Wrangler; 14th Nov 2022 at 12:35 pm. Reason: email address removed |

This forum is frequently crawled by search engines. It isn't safe to have email addresses, phone numbers etc in the open forum, unless you like spam?
Best swap such info by the PM system. The mods try to remove addresses etc as soon as we can, but we can't guarantee to beat the bad guys. David
